Romance

An utterly heart-wrenching and gripping Irish novel filled with family secrets (Emerald Isles, Bookouture)
Grace is running from a controlling husband. She is given a house in southern Ireland, but it isn’t quite the sanctuary she’s hoping for… A dual timeline fiction spanning several generations, and the first of a series contracted by Bookouture.
This story has everything – mystery, intrigue, true love, family, the kindness of strangers and hope… An absolutely wonderful story that I look forward to recommending to my friends. Beautiful… breath taking… wonderfully written story of family, friendship, and filled with hope… kept me flying through the pages… wonderful…
A Heartwarming Contemporary Story of Love and Loss
The book is branded a mystery, and that is true, but the mystery here is not a crime to be solved, bu
Evocative, sensitive writing. There's a quiet, absolute control to this work. Like the sea beside which the story is set, the currents which stir it are powerful and hidden beneath the surface. It never hurries, drawing us deeper and deeper into the lives of the people of an Irish fishing village.
Some Houses Remember What Families Forget

Grace arrives in Ireland with her six-year-old daughter, but the crumbling wreck of her grandmother’s childhood cottage doesn’t provide the fresh start she’d hoped for. Her arrival dredges up secrets from the past and changes to course of events for the people who befriend her. This utterly heartbreaking, completely life-affirming story of a family secret that echoes down the generations.

Beautiful… breath taking… wonderfully written story of family, friendship, and filled with hope… kept me flying through the pages… wonderful… I felt like I was standing on the shores of Roone Bay and enjoying the beautiful emerald sea… highly recommend - Page Turners, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Not All Ghosts Want You Dead

Zach, a young veteran, contemplates suicide after a horrific tour in Afghanistan when Ernest Hemingway appears and stops him.  Alone, haunted by the wars, and with his new friend Hemingway pestering him, Zach descends into alcoholism. With the aide of Zach’s army buddies, a new young love, Jessica, searches for him. But will they find him in time to save his life? And is her love enough to help him find redemption?

Mike Billington, Author of Murder in the Rainy Season: This book was, I must admit, very uncomfortable for me to read. That's probably because, in many ways, I identified strongly with its central character. Like its protagonist, Zach Powell, I am a veteran. Like him, I came home from the war determined to get on with my life; to be "normal."
A Story of Salvation

After a traumatic life-altering event, Jack Douglas quits his job and hikes across America. In Alaska, he takes a job on a king crab fishing boat where he struggles with his past tragedies while fighting feelings for the proprietor of a rustic inn, a beautiful Inuit woman, Qaniit.

Jack Magnus for Readers’ Favorite: I was captivated by Jack’s odyssey up north to the oil fields and his further adventures up into Alaska. I’m a big fan of adventure and travel stories, and Spirit of the Amaroq ranks up there with the best of them.
Twelve festive stories.

A collection of twelve heart-warming love stories perfect for snuggling down with during the season of magic and mistletoe.

Brilliant, cosy short stories which really put me in a festive mood!
Imogen Green runs a shop in London. But it’s not just any shop. It’s been in her family for generations. Behind the façade of gifts and trinkets for all occasions, there is a room where she concocts potions and lotions to make all kinds of wishes come true. As long as the wishes are ethical, that is. Her only problem is Detective Miller…
This witchy closed door romance novella was super cute! I liked the contrast of modern day and witchy traditions. A perfect autumn read.
A story of love, friendship and hope.

What would it be like to die young, only to have to spend the next fifty years watching your loved ones move on without you?

Beautifully written, I was completely hooked and compelled to read on to uncover the mystery shrouding her death...It was heartwarming and emotional...dealing with complex themes in a thought provoking way. I thoroughly recommend this book for anyone wanting a beautiful story of love and loss that will make you stop and think. Clever and compelling.
A heart-warming and original love story.

Pippa Clayton is a grown woman with an imaginary friend. She also hears a soundtrack to her life. Clumsy but caring, Pippa works as a Receptionist for an advertising agency where she has a huge crush on the new Creative Director, Tom Arnold. But when potential client Max Wild spots her hidden talent and asks her out on a date, can Pippa be brave enough to leave the comforting world she has created for herself since an unexplained tragedy in her past, and learn to face up to stark reality?

A truly unique and swoonworthy romance story with an imaginary friend who produced many snort-out-loud moments. I like how the story progresses and the main character’s journey towards inner healing is slowly revealed. If you liked Bridget Jones or Ally McBeal (for those of us of a certain age) there is a lot to like about the brave and quirky female protagonist in this story!
