Litopia's newsletter system lets authors share their writing, news, and updates directly with readers who want to hear from them.

When you subscribe to an author's newsletter, here's what happens and what you can expect.

How it works

After you enter your email address, we'll send you a short confirmation email. Click the link in that email to activate your subscription. This "double opt-in" step ensures that nobody can sign you up without your knowledge.

Once confirmed, you'll receive newsletters from that author whenever they choose to send one — typically anything from weekly to monthly, depending on the author.

Your information

We collect only what's needed to deliver the newsletter: your email address and, if you choose to provide it, your name. That's it.

We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties. Your information is used solely to deliver newsletters from the author you subscribed to. It is not shared with other Litopia authors, advertisers, or anyone else.

Your rights

You are in complete control of your subscription. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any newsletter you receive. Unsubscription is instant and permanent — you will not receive any further emails from that author unless you choose to subscribe again.

If you subscribe to multiple Litopia authors, each subscription is independent. Unsubscribing from one author does not affect your other subscriptions.

How we send emails

Newsletters are sent from newsletter.litopia.com using Amazon's Simple Email Service (SES), a secure and trusted email infrastructure. We comply with all applicable email regulations, including one-click unsubscribe (RFC 8058) and CAN-SPAM requirements.
