After playing guitar for a very long time in various bands I caught the writing bug. Much to my surprise, some success contributing to BBC radio sketch shows led to a comedy book being commissioned by a mainstream publisher.
Now, when not writing and (still) guitaring, I can be found on the golf course. Incidentally, I won't be wearing lime-green trousers, a pink diamond patterned jumper or tartan bunnet as I am not a character from a 1980s sitcom.

Secrets
1. I used to write jokes for Terry Wogan and BBC sketch shows.
2. I was once pressganged into a Morris Dance Set for a band tour of Germany. I am not proud of this.
3. C'mere, you won't believe it, but... no hang on. It's a big secret and I can't say anything about it. Erm... sorry.
